A Touch of Provence

9.png

Chez Suzette, a French café whose name lovingly translates to “Suzette’s Home.” Founded by Suzette and her French husband — who hails from the picturesque countryside of Provence — the café was born from their shared passion for food, hospitality, and the simple warmth of home.

Together, they envisioned a space where guests could savour authentic French cuisine — including the signature Crêpe Suzette — in a setting that feels both comforting and refined.

The logo design encapsulates this sense of welcome and belonging through a clever typographic detail — a doorway formed between the two T’s in “Suzette,” symbolising the invitation to step into her home.

This visual metaphor becomes the heart of the brand: a door always open, inviting guests to slow down, gather, and experience a slice of France with warmth and authenticity.

The interior styling draws inspiration from European sensibilities, featuring soft countryside textures, greenery, and sunlit tones that echo the rustic charm of Provence — all nestled in a quiet corner of Singapore.

Artificial creeping vines were used to enliven the toilet’s ventilation windows, complemented by additional greenery to balance the warmth of the tiles. European-inspired cushion covers reintroduce a touch of continental charm, while a standing floor lamp softens the ambience of the café’s private library upstairs.
