Y-Alpha Capital Branding

Y-Alpha Capital - Main Logo (Colour).png

Y-Alpha Capital, a newly established private investment firm, needed a brand identity and logo that embodies legacy, faith, and foresight.

The name Y-Alpha carries deep personal and symbolic meaning. The “Y” represents the founder’s surname Yeong, while also drawing parallels to the Y-axis in investing — the vertical measure of growth and value.

Paired with “Alpha”, meaning the beginning, the name reflects the company’s pivotal role in funding potential businesses and nurturing growth — both financial and generational.

Spiritually, Y being the second last alphabet before Z also symbolises living in the final chapters before the second coming of Christ — a reminder of stewardship and preparation.

In this light, Y-Alpha Capital was founded to serve as a trust for the Yeong family, safeguarding and multiplying generational wealth for the years ahead.

The brand colours—Phthalo Blue and Mint Green—were chosen to reinforce this narrative.

Phthalo Blue, known for its depth, vibrancy, and resilience, represents enduring strength and innovation. Mint Green, associated with vitality and renewal, embodies growth, clarity, and creativity.

Together, they create a refined yet forward-looking palette that reflects both stability and freshness—qualities essential for a family-led investment venture with eternal vision.

The resulting identity is both personal and purposeful—a timeless emblem of faith, foresight, and the flourishing of generations to come.
